Use STOPP APP if you aim to tackle cyclical patterns of depression, anxiety, and other recurring behaviors like negative thinking, excessive worrying, substance abuse, gambling, aggression, self-harm, avoidance tendencies, and more.

Created by Michelle Ayres and Carol Vivyan, both experienced Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapists, STOPP APP encapsulates the principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Backed by substantial evidence, CBT has demonstrated effectiveness in addressing a broad spectrum of issues.

Employ STOPP APP to shift negative behavioral cycles and facilitate constructive alterations in your thoughts, emotions, and actions, fostering a more deliberate and rational lifestyle.

Recognize those moments when you sense the urge to take action. Pause. Consult STOPP APP before proceeding. Then make an informed decision on the best course of action.

STOPP constitutes the initial skill within The Decider (comprising 32 skills) and The Decider Life Skills (comprising 12 skills). Its development involved input from individuals receiving adult mental health services. Firmly rooted in psychological theory, the app stands prepared to guide you towards constructive decision-making.
